Warm springtime attire
Cardigan - vintage, necklace - made by me, top - Target, skirt - Urban Outfitters, fork bracelet - antique, woven bracelet - gift, socks - random, sandals - Aldo
I'm behind on posting - I wore this on Monday when it was gloriously sunny and gloriously warm. I essentially refused to sit inside, with the exception of complying during school and an appointment. There's no reason to not enjoy eighty degree weather during early April!
I decided to edit these photos a bit differently than I normally do. I tried to give them a vintage vibe, but I'm not all too sure that they came out that way. And another note: first time wearing sandals in 2011! Huge deal. Especially considering these sandals should be in terrible condition by now because I wore them so damn often last season.
I've spent most of the week in jeans and old t-shirts so I won't have to scrape clay off my good clothes. I've been throwing on the pottery wheel quite often - consider it one of my latest obsessions - and I'm finally getting the hang of it. For the record, I first gave it a whirl two and a half years ago.
And seriously, I'd like to thank you all for the positive response I've been getting on my Thoughts for Tuesday posts. The writing hits a bit closer to home than most of my posts, and while I accept any opinions different from my own, I'm very glad that I haven't been criticized for pretending I know shit. Sometimes I feel that way about myself.
Conversely, I've been receiving comments that add to interesting discussions on the chosen topics. And Annebeth of The Styling Dutchman mentioned me in her post Peter Pan Collared Feminist, which I recommend you read.
