To be honest, it never really crossed my mind that I might have wanted a chambray skirt prior to trying on this and feeling like a million bucks. It's not that it's my new-favorite skirt, but I just can't help but feel good in it, you know? And for $10, I said why not.
I wore this yesterday. The weather was fantastic, and I had an overall good day. I swapped the skirt for a pair of shorts then went on an adventure to a state park, a big tree on a hill (photos soon!), and a giant wooden castle for children. Yes, that sounds creepy, no, there were no children present.
I think at this point, I can make the decision that this has been my best summer ever. I've been to the beach twice (with friends), I've gone on numerous adventures, I've been taking classes at University of the Arts (one week left! sorta bittersweet...), and I still have time to relax. Usually I worry about things changing in the future, but my attitude right now is one that allows me to go with the flow. And sometimes there's nothing better!

What a cute skirt! It's pretty much perfect, as far as chambray skirts go, I feel.
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt. Does it have pockets? Because for some reason if a skirt has pockets, I totally have to have it. A skirt with pockets will sell it for me any day. :)
