England's heavily varying weather has led me to warm up to looks of all sorts - even those appropriate for... autumn, gasp. The past few days the sun has made an appearance, although today did mark my first experience of London in the rain. One of very many, I can assume.

The rain did dampen plans I had for a picnic, but I did take outfit photos in a little park behind the house. Not surprisingly, people in the UK also look at me funny when I run back and forth to my camera! Oh well.

From what I've seen these past few days, my peers in London dress infinitely better than their American counterparts. I've seen several young men wearing button ups, yet only two people wearing sweatpants in public. Raises the bar a little bit, no?

I kept hoping I'd get around to posting (an outfit, an editorial, etc.) before another weekly favorites post... but alas, I've been pretty busy enjoying my last few days in the States. I ended up in New Jersey with my brother, sister, and her friend, who are all really great friends to me. We laid on the beach until it began to rain, then ate some food - I discovered a little place with food I can eat, on a boardwalk of all places!

Last night I made some food for my family in honor of my going away. Seems a little weird in hindsight that I had the duty of preparing food for my own celebration dinner, but I really do enjoy cooking and baking. I made a vegan margherita pizza and some squash served over pasta. It was nice to see a few people I probably won't see before my departure.

Tonight, my friend is hosting a going away party for me. I had originally wanted to throw a get together myself, but then I remembered how stressed I get when there's many people at my house and I'm in charge. Hopefully it'll be a good time!

I hope all is well with you, and that the dwindling days of summer are providing nothing but happiness.

...I suppose by postponed, I intended to post this Monday morning, not a little past 12am on Sunday (though I would do that, being the smartass I am). But I came home sooner than I earlier anticipated (10pm instead of, say, 2am) so I had a little time to round this up! I had a great time at the beach with my friends. This trip, I didn't end up with sunburn! Score.

After a whirlwind weekend of prom, lounging in an inflatable boat in the front of a YMCA, going to the beach, going to another beach, falling asleep on the beach with my clothes on beneath an overcast sky and waking up to the bright sun... I'm back. Plus sunburn, which you'll probably see soon if I can find anything suitable to wear.

To-do list for the evening includes: posting on my Tumblr and emptying the tabs I'm browsing, aloe vera, catching up on blogs, more aloe, and editing all of my photos.

Hope your weekend went just as well... minus sunburn, of course.

While the lovely gals up top have enviable blonde hair and floral patterns, I'm finding uncanny similarities between Dylana and Courtney's outfits. A nearly identical color palette? Check - they even have "color" in their blog names. Not to mention Courtney is a Philly blogger and Dylana will reside here soon!

I can't speak of many similarities within any of these, other than that some of my favorite blogs are included.

Also, to anyone following along with my college decision process, I've made a decision! To be honest, I wasn't completely sold on any of my plausible options, which I guess was evident by my not choosing sooner. Half of me feels like I'm playing it safe, but traveling abroad my second semester isn't really a "safe" choice, now is it? More on that later.

It seems the unofficial color of the blogosphere this past week is orange! Whether it's a bold, reddish shade, or a softer floral selection, these girls did it very well.
